That's the old kit. The current kit includes some hard lines and is a little more. I have to assume the change was an improvement in something beyond his bottom line. I just ordered the new kit. I'm having my turbos rebuilt and, although I have never seen any smoking, Kevin said there was evidence of oil seepage.

The new kit is $425.00

The revised kit includes one piece CNC fittings on all four connections. Porsche changed suppliers and with this change the thread depth was also changed.

I have the kit that's pictured and seems to work great. If doing it yourself, just be careful on how all the bits are tightened and that it doesn't hit the sheet metal preventing good tightening (driver's side). Also it's good for new/rebuilt or near new turbos, but I'd suspect it would be hard to put these on 14 year turbos without getting crud in the treads/lines.

The sealant is Permatex Pneumatic Sealant #54550. Small amounts are applied to the fitting threads. Cure time is 10-15 minutes.

Greg, not included. Talk to Kevin before you buy or use. Despite being a part of the instructions, Kevin told me not to use it. My turbos are installed, broken in and have 1000 miles on them with no issues.

If you decide to use the sealant, I have a new tube that I will gladly give to you. Just PM me your address. I bought it on amazon before Kevin told me no.

Good luck.

Thanks for the offer. I'll get the latest info from the horses mouth before I do the install. That's odd that it's in the instructions but Kevin says not to follow them. I thought this was Kevin's kit.
