Always fun to have new parts! Go for it, I also have a list growing of stuff I want to do on my car as well - when are you going to go deeper and take that engine apart? (just kidding - but you want do, dont you?)

Cheers,

Mike

The planks look heavy. I am debating between a scissor lift or a Max Jax and it just goes back and forth.

Nice! I destroyed the bushings in the FD tranny mount, those bushings are probably more for street than track use. Didn't want full solid mounts so I ended up getting some same diameter polyurethane from mcmaster in a harder 90 durameter rating and have been very happy with the results. This is also a good time to do the same thing to the tranny mount that is on the side of the transmission. Good luck!

Nice lift, I see your going to convert to 2WD. I'm still on the fence. My current project is making a carbon fiber airbox to go with the custom intercooler. Did you get the 2wd parts from viperbob?

Nice, 2wd time! Hollar if you have questions. Fwiw you can bolt in the shift box, no need to weld it.

Can you explain more? My 2WD Conversion will sometimes lock the stock shift in 2nd gear only when I brake hard and be almost impossible to release into neutral. I would need to release brakes to free the shifter. Where do I start trouble shooting? I thought it may be the new LSD locking too much?

My car is Mark from FD Motorsport's old car but the LSD was installed by another previous owner after Mark.

Am planning on bolting, sounds like a pain to remove the driveshaft, may have to draw other's wisdom if I get stuck...

May need some more info on these when the time comes!

I got off work early today (get 1 week off as of today). Have to work over new years this year. Had lunch with my wife and did some xmas shopping. Now I'm going to get changed and go to the garage

Currently having fun with this... Will start another thread when I'm done with some pics! Have had to be creative with "loosening" suspension components, have had some breakthroughs and predict smooth sailing... Famous last words...
