Default Texas Mile: 993 TT doing 200+ miles

A proto built 993 TT with K24/18 g set-up with water/methanol just went 203.9 mph.... no bad for a 14 year old air cooler

That's me. Friday and Saturday I struggled with a boost leak and could only get 197 at 18 psi. Sunday i turned up the boost controller 5% and made 20psi which gave me a 204 run. I only ran the one run and I think I could have gone a little faster after looking at the data logs. I lifted a little in 3rd gear tiring to get the tires to hook and I had about 150rpms left before red line.I only ran the 1 run because I met my goal of breaking 200. Todd Knighton tuned the car to 685 whp on pump gas(93 oct) I have been reluctant on posting dyno numbers until I had real performance stats. As far as pics, coming soon. Overall lots of fun.

Sounds fantastic Mike, way to go . Was the car stable at high speed with the RUF bumpers?

Would love some pictures (or perhaps a DIY) of your new intercooler as well . Or are you running a Promotive I/C?

Very impressive! What fuel are you running? What material do you have across your front bumper? Also, are you running spacers on the rear Rufs? The rear wheels seem to be sitting very inboard. Congrats on your run, that IC is a work of art.
