Well it looks like NONE of my Turbo S's will be going back to BH Porsche. I did have a problem with them trying to rape me on a ppi for an out of state buyer for my 06 C4 cab. Since I live closer to BH than Auto Gallery in Woodland Hills, I have driven past BH Porsche at night and have seen some very rare and expensive cars sitting outside. I was never ok with this

Surprised he's suing and not his insurance company? Anyway, betcha he wins and dealer puts up chain link topped with razor wire. Keep us updated on outcome...

As of tonight 9-27-2013, nothing has changed. I was thinking about posting picts, though I wouldn't want to advertise what is sitting there.

i cringe at the thought of leaving my car overnight at the dealer...my indy wrench could have the car for 2 weeks and i wouldnt lose a wink of sleep, but the dealer...another story

I won't leave my car anywhere, trust no one and nobody touches it. Have figured out how to do almost everything to her so I don't have to. OCD won't let me have anyone else do any work. Otherwise I'd expect something to come off at the most impromptu time. It sucks to have a low opinion of most humans. :-)

Default More Research

Upon further research with some other VERY credible sources. Here is some more info:

Sounds more and more like an inside job.

1) The car was left outside, right behind the gate, first car off the street.
2) Simple padlock, easily cut with bolt cutters and the gate was open.
3) BH Porsches security camera positioned to film that area and gate, WAS OUT OF COMMISSION that night.

And now for the best part

4) Due to the security system being inop, no security guard temporarily posted, and BH Porsche not notifying that the camera was out……..

THE INSURANCE COMPANY IS REFUSING TO COVER THE LOSS.

Considering the owner is a billionaire (seriously), and he loved his 993 (as we all do).... Money is no object and I have a feeling he can afford the best lawyers.

And so in 2013 what are the best products on the market to trace where your car is? Like some kind of gps device?

Maybe they ship these cars off in lead lined carriers.

No affiliation but a few tracker out there.

This one tracks for a monthly fee of around 40 dollars a month...

This one has mixed reviews and there is no monthly membership fee.

Geez. For a lot less than $40 a month, it seems simpler to find a place to hide an old iPhone.

That's an interesting idea, wired in and stashed away. Where's My iPhone to the rescue....
