Default SY 993 Twin Turbo at Canepa

A 1996 7k mile 993 Twin Turbo in Speed Yellow apparently just arrived at Canepa. My guess is that the price is in the $120k range.

It's got the seats and a rarer color. I bet he's asking more than $120 though it *might* go for $120. I suspect though he would want more. Is it really worth that much? I dunno.

I'm amazed when cars like this pop out of the woodwork. PPI and carfax might be interesting.

I'm on this one and will report back!

I'm on one other that dealer has slated for Monterey Auction. I would buy but "slated" seems to mean more like under contract to sell at the auction. Maybe I'll bid or fly out

I hope he gets it for reasons that are entirely self-serving!

I believe that I see yellow stitching in the sports seats, but may be a fairly low-option car in that I do not see stainless sills, stainless shifter or e-brake.

Good luck Tony! I think $120k should buy that car . . . but Canepa is the seller to the stars so who knows.

Some kind soul could run a carfax on the plate. My carfax deal expired unexpectedly. I ran a car fax on his dd 959 and it came up with no records! LOL

well, what I can say is there seems to be an abundance of low mileage (<20K) turbos at higher prices ($100k +). So, if it isn't exactly what I'm looking for, there is no reason to settle, especially at those prices.

What isn't in abundance is low mileage 993TT at < $100k.

SY has to be my favorite so I'm hoping to have a awesome Monday!

Best of luck. You'll never regret getting an as new car especially if you like 'em stock like I do. Got mine with 8400 miles 4 years ago and was one of the best triggers I ever pulled.

do your research on canepa. i had a buddy who bought a 993 T from him. i think it became , for a while, an epic thread up here on RL.
just do your research. there are some up here who would never buy from him.

Thanks Ronnie, well see what happens. Yes, on this one I would prefer all stock.

ZSA, I appreciate the heads up. I remember the thread. Something to do with a 993TT that was totaled, not disclosed, customer got the shaft.

I'll enter cautiously like the rest I suppose. Conversation will last 5 min anyway probably after hearing his price.

Museum piece. Yellow seat stitching is a nice touch. Could eat a meal of the inter-cooler.

I spoke to Bruce, it's Cherry according to him. Needs some servicing that he does with all his cars. Price isn't bad, I was surprised.
