Nice - is the lift at the top of the stroke, or resting on the safety locks? I guess what I am wondering is if you want to lower the car and the door is open, is it possible since on most lifts you need to lift of the locks to unlock them....

Nice measuring though!

Cheers,

Mike

Hey Mike...she is in full height there and I simply release the locks and it comes down - no monkeying around required. Notice the truss detail on the garage ceiling which was designed/ conceived specifically to install a hoist - just didn't think it would be this close....

What is the distance from the garage door (when open) to the floor? I want to see if I can squeeze in a similar lift.

+1

Not sure I have the guts to be that close, but it sure would be nice to free up some space.
