Default brought old friend home..

I brought home my stock engine the other day. (no it's not for sale!)
Options?
1) rebuild stock and keep as spare.
2) build another 3.8 twin plug (or 3.6 twin plug high boost) with all the fix'ins to keep as a spare.
3) do 1 or 2 and buy a old 911 to shoe hone engine into.

If it's in fully working order...I'd just freshen it up (cosmetically) and put it in an older 911 chassis. 400hp is more than enough for torsion bars...

Do 2 and then decide on 3 or not.

well 3 it is. It'll be twice as expensive though. I guess I'll have to wait longer to buy a brand new pcar/fcar, but that's okay I'll probably have more fun this way anyways and end up spending less cf the alternative. It's also less obvious to the wifey how much I'm actually spending (cf having a new car in the driveway)

It will also be a longer term project though, I actually have a few ideas/things I want to do already over the winter!

You are right, I suppose I might end up with a fleet of similar type of cars over the next few years depending on my girls..
