I like the fact that it will not scratch very easily (whcih I find my stainless steel ones get easily), but not sure about how tough these are - good idea though!
You going to try a set?
Cheers,
Mike

Just put some paint protection film on the sills, holds up well against the usual scuffs. I've had Xpel on mine (after polishing out scratches best I could) for a number of years.

Stand up guy. I cancelled order stating why. And he messaged back that he will make similar to OEM for no change in price. And that he has made those etched ones before for a little more $$$.
Kinda shocking....I'll be the guinea pig...I'll post pics when received. Think it's going to be a month or so. Appears sincere, we'll see.

They just arrived. They are beautiful. I will post pics when installed
These are reasonably priced sills all SS and etched "turbo" in them and they are stunning quality; kinda shocked.
....................which leads me to another question.......Do I have to remove the old sills? I mean these "replace" not "cover" the old plastic sills right?
If so that looks like a several hour job instead of a 5 min veneer; anyone advise?
Thanks
Joe

Glad to hear, can't go wrong for that price.
I'm gonna say you'll need to remove the old sills, otherwise you'll be just be putting unnecessary glue/adhesive on the old sill.
Looking fwd to your pics, I could use a set too.

Wow I cannot believe how easy that was.
I did not have adhesive under my rubber sills. I had two strips of very thin double-sided tape. The sills pulled off and I even reused the two-sided tape and just stuck the new sills back on the tape.
I don't have that kind of luck.
****I think the link with the original first post in this thread... still works...go to the eBay site and you can get the guy's contact info from there. Ask him what the cost would be.. can't exactly remember but I believe it's actually around $100 custom fabricated and shipped from Great Britain. The link is to a similar product I think you can just message him about the all stainless sill with the etched turbo script. These are extremely thick and high-quality. I would imagine these are at least 16 gauge. They are so thick you can even remove and re-position without fear of bending them (I shoved them in a little more after these pics...they were sticking out a little)

Before.....it's almost shocking what a difference it made. Like I mentioned the guy is a standup individual. He did what he said and in the appropriate time for the agreed price...Almost as shocking these days
