Throttle body to PS pump rubber buffer
-Hi everyone
After changing my throttle body and looking at different manuals I realized that there should be some kind of rubber buffer going from the throttle body braket to the PS pump.
Actually the hole where should go that buffer is blocked by an insert of some sort...
Do you know if its possible to remove that insert and install a new rubber buffer P/N 999-703-265-00
Ive seen PS pump with and without that insert someone can explain?
Thanks!

This looks like the place to acquire the part.

I've wondered what went there as mine is missing too.

The part that is in the picture in place of the buffer is the right part with the buffer missing, grab it with vise grips and remove and replace with new buffer part. easy peasy.

Perfect!
Porsche is asking 18$ for the part so I will defenately go with your option Hurdi!
Just so you know the thread on the metallic part for the buffer is M6.
Thanks
