Default height of Gear **** above Gear Shaft?

Hi,

Might seem like a strange question, but I am doing a mock up install of a 996 Numeric Shifter in a non-porsche race car and trying to get the shifter mount height exactly correct. Only problem is I don't yet have a gear kno-b for it and can't get one for another week, so am not sure how much extra height to factor in for the kno-b placement. Does anyone know how much higher than the top of the gear shaft, shown below, does a standard Porsche OEM kno-b sit?

Thanks!

Give me until this evening and I can get it for you. From the base or where?

Hey thanks, that would be great!

Distance from top of shift **** to the shaft pin would be fine, assuming you are measuring with the shaft on the middle hole as per the pic.
