It looks like someone rigged that fix...It's tough to tell from your photo, but I'm pretty sure it's the part I listed in my last post. It's a hose with integrated/molded "T"'s on it. You can try to fix it again if you like, but I'd recommend getting a new part...

It's not rigged, that's they way they come. You have the right hose but, the plastic fitting goes into the small part of the "T" and then rubber hose to AOS.

Maybe, but I have seen this plastic fitting crack many times, just like the one on the other end near the alternator that has the aftermarket metal replacement, or the brass fitting that many people use.. But the plastic will last another 10-20 years..lol

I should have taken a photo from a little farther away. I replaced the overflow tank a few years ago when the original sprung a leak. It's definitely leaking from that connection, hopefully it's the white plastic connector tube with a crack right above the hose clamp.

Any tips on getting the old one out and the new one in, without spilling coolant all over the place??
Get some of these clamps, put on all three hoses, you won't loose but an ounce of coolant and not have to drain and vacuum fill. Done in 5 minutes.. https://r.search.yahoo.com/cbclk2/dW...e+clamp+pliers

I used those clamps when I replaced my water pump and thermostat.
They helped reduce how much coolant I had to use...and they also got in the way a bunch!
I have some Craftsman, some from Harbor Freight, and some from Autozone.
They all work the same so find the cheapest set of 3 that you can find.

We have a winner! Turns out the leak was from the relief valve where it mounts to the tank. My mechanic said the bolts were loose, hopefully tightening them will seal the thing up. Shouldn't there be some kind of gasket between the bolted on valve and the tank?
