Durametric indicated the immobilizer is not engaged. The code I received indicated that there is inadequate fuel pressure at the injector rail. Because the car is an 2003 Boxster which is equipped with a non-return fuel system. Testing this system requires a Porsche System Tester and aren't covered in any manuals. The closed Porsche dealer about 125 miles away. I'm ordering a new fuel pump since it seems easy enough to replace. An earlier post in this string mentioned replacing the fuel pump but want to ensure the issue wasn't just a relay..
Once the car is running I will stop by the dealer and get a new RF for the key.remote..

You can connect a mechanical gage,, you just need to add a test port if your car doesn't have one.
You normally insert the T in the feed line at the injection rail, you eill need the right fittings see a hydroaulic line supply shop..
its not always about the high tech solution..
But since you ordered the pump and its Easier to change than a tire.. I'd go for it..
You should be able to hear the pump with the frunk open and an ear to the tank bulge...

Spray some starter fluid into the throttle body and see if it fires up. If it does, you'll know with 100% certainty that the engine is not getting fuel and you can start going from there.

This is a myth. The fuel running through the pump cools it too, they are designed to run without needing to be submerged in fuel. If they didn't they would be failing when the car is new. The car manufacturer would not allow this when the car is still under warranty. They are filing because they are 20 years old.

Yea if there is fuel pumping its submerged. The pump is located in the "canister" of the fuel pump assembly and the fuel regulator dumps the excess fuel into that canistor, thus keeping submerged.

Solved. Swapped out the fuel pump and it started right up. Kind of wished the tank wasnt full but as someone posted changing the fuel pump was easier than changing a tire.. Thanks to everyone for your good support
