Default 996 Convertible issues

Greetings... just decided to take my 996 Convertible out after a winter sit. Tried to drop the top but the old Cabriolet was not having it. Latch comes down clam shell comes up. I freed the front thinking it was rubber stuck but it will not lift. Suggestions on what to look for ? any tricks to try? Need some advice....

Check your hydraulic fluid level? Hard if it won’t move, to get it into services position though.

Anyone have a link or instructions on how to get 996 rag top into service mode? Clamshell opens as well as latch but top will not go up. Trying to get at hydraulic fill location
