I removed my center console to repaint it and found a wire the has a clamp attached to the right side of the e brake base. The wire was not plugged into anything but has a connector making it look like it is unplugged. I have a 2000 Cab with tiptronic. I searched for a diagram but could not locate, I maybe using the wrong key words. Anyone know what it is for? It is not for the windows and is not the plug for the ashtray light. I cannot see what it would connect too. The e brake light works as should and the top functions as it should so I do not think it is part of that. My only thought is that is where the rear defrost would plug into (if I had one) and since I do not have a defrost with the plastic window is why it is not connected. Any thoughts?

I think that plugs into the cubby latch to tell the alarm system if someone's breaking in.
