Default 996 and a pick-up truck anyone?

Thinking that a 996 and a truck could be a good combo. Anyone go this route and if so which truck do you have to complement your Porsche?

Not a pickup, but a 4Runner with a full length roof rack is plenty complementary for me.

Default All snug

1999 C2 and 2001 Ford F-350 crewcab,4x4, 7.3 Powerstroke diesel. I have owned the truck for almost 20 years, bought with 29,000 miles. Now 244,xxx on it. Just changed the oil today. My wife and I were planning on upgrading the truck when I retire, but, I am not sure I want to do that. It is a good truck. The 944 has a new home.

No pickup truck but I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ (invincible all purpose vehicle) and a 2014 VW Touareg (almost a Porsche Cayenne) as a daily driver. They are very useful living in Utah...

The jeep has 225k miles. Can’t even remember the last time I serviced it, it’s just keeps going

Since I retired from Cummins, I have a Cummins Dodge 2500 Ram, rarely drive it, use the diesel Benz mostly. great ride and mileage. I did take the Porsche out for 200 mile twisty ride today with top down and 71 degree sunshine.

Was running a 128i with the 996, recently got rid of it at 217k miles for a 2015 crew cab Colorado Z71. It's been nice having something that I can throw parts in the back that would have never worked with the 128.

Ocean Blue Metallic 1999 C2 Cabriolet 6sp with 80K miles, and a Silver 2006 Honda Ridgeline auto with 128K. Love that Ridgeline! Gave the Arctic White 1999 Boxster Base 6 sp with 88K miles to my Daughter and Son-In-Law, however, I replaced that car with two Harley Davidsons, a Vivid Black 2001 Road King with 16K miles, and a Vivid Black1989 Softail Springer with a 1999 Night Train engine and transmission with only 3K miles! I rule!

I have a E350 Transit Box truck with liftgate for the business. Good for toting around stuff. Also have a 2016 Town and Country as the dedicated family vehicle. Pretty boring but hasn't demanded anything other than regular maintenance.

Holy Schnikes! You must get some looks when you show up to track days! #lifegoals

For me it is a Toyota 4Runner, but I don’t have a good pic of the combo.

I no longer own my 996 (I own a 991 now), but the combination of a 911 and a truck is perfect. I’ve got a GMC Denali 1500 in the garage along with my 911.

My complimentary "truck" is a full size van. Tow's 6K easily, very comfy, and when I haul stuff it's out of the weather!
