The video was FSI bashing, what looked to be a garbage supercharger kit and other mods THEY don't like.

Jason posted my video in the OP which started this discussion on aftermarket intakes vs. stock intakes. But IMHO, this opens up a broader discussion, like with the BAT Targa and the aftermarket motor mounts, do these products that are heavily promoted worth the money and do they deliver results?

FYI, Lee Sibley from 9werx on YouTube recently posted a pre and post ipd plenum dyno. He did not add a GT3 throttle body but he did add a kn air filter. Don't know why he didn't add a GT3 TB but the addition of the ipd and kn air filter got him 10 hp on his 996.1.

someone closer to fabspeed should contact John and get some testing done. I’m just too far away and now since I got the 03 turbo I’m going to work with my mechanic and probably marski to get the turbo to rip. Not selling the coupe yet. I want to have drive both. God knows maybe I finish liking the 99 better than the turbo.

Lee and PCA have both posted videos showing the IPD plenum producing measurable gains throughout the rev-range on a 3.4.

And both of them tested the right way, same dyno, same conditions on the same day.

I find it amusing because the general census on RL is that the IPD plenum is worthless.

A supercharger is a forced-induction mod. An intake works at normal atmospheric pressure. So no, they're totally effing different. Nice troll, tho.
