I received the wires, actually two of the same one. Not sure if I was supposed to get two different ones like shown in their photo. I have two of the one on the left. Assuming the plug end goes into where the airbag connects, what do I do with the end that has two bare leads? The wire with the longer heat shrink reads 2.8 ohms and the other about 0.7 ohms. I've contacted the seller asking for an explanation but haven't heard back yet.

Update from the seller: "Amazon's photo is wrong. The resistor is the one on the left the one on the right is a horn wire. We don't provide instructions."

I'm still at a loss on how to use this or if this is the correct one for my car.

All u do is remove/unplug the airbag from the steering wheel and stab those pins from the connector on the left into the yellow connector. Done.

There r 3 or 4 good youtube vids of people installing momo wheels and they show the details

The black wire is if u swap in their wheel and get a horn button. It taps into the wiring so u dont have to cut the orange plug

Aren’t safety related items kind of warranted for life? Might be worth asking….

This is for the door airbag, not the steering wheel. I thought the airbag connection was male not female, but I'll check again today, It's been raining the last few days and I haven't been able to get to it.

All the airbag connections r the same. I used these to defeat the seatbelt sensors cause my car has mk1 belts and a mk2 modual that looks for them.

Is your failure in the door air bag (behind door card) or the impact sensor (in cab under door sill)?

Thanks. So after plugging in the resistor to bypass the airbag and clearing the code, the error comes back. Is there a way to test the controller in the center console or should I just replace it if I can find one at a decent price?. I'm guessing the one in the door sill is much harder to get to.

The controller I replaced is the unit in your original photo. This is the main controller located under the dash. Pretty simple replacement, but you will need to use channel locks or some type of plyer to remove the nuts.
My iCarsoft P700 gave me this part number as the failure. Replaced it and cleared the code. All is well.

Success! I replaced the module with the one I got from De Jeeper and was finally able to clear the airbag light and keep it off. Every post I've read where replacing the controller fixed the issue has an error code pointing to the driver side airbag. I'm guessing that code is the catchall for anything that is wrong with the module and not necessarily specific to that side.

Tip: Get small needle nose Vise Grips to remove those crazy nuts. I was able to find replacement nuts that I had on hand from who knows what. All in all, not too bad of a job if you don't count a couple of trips to Ace Hardware and Autozone.

Well, the airbag fault came back again. Now when I clear the light it will stay off for a few days and them come back on. Same error code as before. Before I swapped out the controller, the light wouldn't stay off at all. Should I try another control module or is there something else I can check?

You are disconnecting the battery while unplugging the sensor? Just asking..

Yes. I had the battery disconnected before I fiddled with any of it and only reconnected it when everything was buttoned up. Before I replaced the controller with a used one, the airbag light would come right back on after clearing it with a Durametric. After replacing it, the light was off for about a month. I cleared it and it came back a few days later. I cleared it again and it came back a few days later. I would think the controller would either be good or bad, not showing intermittent errors.
