I’m curious to know if the builder is measuring the bores and what the results are…. And is he just doing rings or new pistons too? Isn’t the deterioration of the piston skirt coating a major contributing factor to bore scoring? Sending the case out for Nickies seems more than prudent at this point.

Here are pictures of the pistons as they came out. Looks like skirt coating is still intact.
