Question - Does an OEM 996 GT2 rear wing bolt onto a 996 C4S lid?
The OEM 996 GT2 wing is from a 2004 996 GT2 cab. Wondering if fitment will work on my 2003 996 C4S?
Does anyone have any info from personal experience?
Thanks,
Michael

I dont think there is 996 gt2 cab. All of the 6-gt cars r coupes.
That being said the c4s and the turbo coupe cars share the same chassis and body panels so it should fit if its a oem wing and tailbase.
U will have to cut a new hole for the air filter box and relocate the engine fan as turbo and gt airboxes r different from na cars.

As De Jeeper said, there wasn't a 996 GT2 cab. Are you sure that's an oem piece? I think the C4S and TT cabs have a different sized decklid than the coupe. If you have access to that car, I'd measure the vertical length of that lid and compare it to your coupe's length.

No Sanyata, not sure of legitimacy of the wing. Seller says it's an OEM wing, but would take a while to verify as car is supposedly off site.
I don't think I'll pursue this as fitment is not assured, it's kind'a pricey, and I like the center reflector on the C4S anyway.

I saw your other thread so i dont think u r going for this but i am 100% sure that is not a gt2 wing or deck lid. It may be a turbo cab aero wing but the gt2 script was added. As said the cab deck wont work on a coupe anyways.
