I'd start with googling the part number on the box. Haven't seen a Genuine one with a leather case before.
Thanks, I’ve seen some old post pre 2021 stating they were selling 150-200 euros. I think it’s very cool how Porsche use to make umbrella’s to fit the cubby with leather instead of the modern day sleeves they have now.
Here's a little bit of history. I ordered and bought my 996 C4S brand new in 2002. Did not check the box for the umbrella, did not even know it was available. Saw one being auctioned on eBay I think in 2003. Put a bid in for $100, lost to a final bid of $140 by someone else. Checked the Porsche website. It was available directly from Porsche for $24, leather case and all. ROFL. Needless to say I bought one, and contemplated selling another one on eBay.
Of course it is no longer available brand new from Porsche, so I was curious at what this little cute thing went for this day and age.

Guys I have seen several threads on this Porsche 911 Umbrella
We always talk about how it's NLA, how there are Chinese knockoffs, etc.
We always digress that it used to be a low price but now is expensive on ebay.
We need to follow a proper principle, if there is a market it will be filled.
Porsche Knows that there is a market for 996 Parts, they know how many they have made, the Engineering cost on the PCCM+ for example is a perfect example of this.
Consumer voice is a big deal in 2023 companies, they are more dialed in than ever to listening to their customers and their consumers. What we have to do is write a letter writing campaign or petition to Porsche Classic Parts, asking for this part. They will listen!!
I was part of the campaign in the early 2000's to bring back family guy, and it worked. we can do the same thing and get this umbrella back into production!!!
