******** comment but I’ll bite. Pushing a used stock internal motor past its mechanical capabilities will yield certain results. With that being said my cars been living a year driven 3x times a week at 550hp since I put in the forged bottom end.

Facts point to the truth and the truth is, you are trying to win people over because you're in the business to make money just like Renegade Hybrids. Own it Ben!

The reason one would care about the static value is because of a desire to project its effect on dynamic performance.

The dynamic performance is what we experience when we use the car, those results are the only ones I see value in.

This is a Porsche 996 forum, once you do an engine swap, its not a 996 any longer.
If your intent is to sell swap kits I believe you need to become site sponsor.
Perhaps the Mods could create a Frankenstein, or Orphan sub forum for these discussions.

I think a swap forum is a great idea.

In fact, likely the smartest thing you have ever said, ever.

Right, same as with the total weight of a car...

Personally I wouldn't do anything to increase the values of either.....but if I did , I would want to know by "how much"...statically first, dynamically second....doing otherwise is stupid..

I didn’t advertise anything. I’m just saying there is now another great option. Don’t be a Karen and try to squash a one man business which keeps keeps these chassis chugging along.

Sure, you can know the statistical value but YOU have no way to understand what, if any impact that value will have. Therefore, the value is meaningless without the context of how it impacts performance.

So, we can be efficient and skip caring about stuff that doesn’t matter and go straight to understanding the performance delta, using data.
