I work on both of my cars so the quickjacks work pretty well. Heaven help you if you ever decide to add a lift to your Q7, I did a 3 on my T3 and wanted to light it on fire. I too have a TDI
fantastic vehicle.

LOL - I'm in no danger; my Q7 is my tow vehicle and will stay bone stock. Agreed that the TDI is great. I'm still in warranty for emissions until August of 2025. After that I have to figure out how much I can de-dieselgate it without running into emissions testing issues.

Ah the memories. Since my '99 996 is lowered, I used ramps. I'd also converted to the LN spin on adapter which was a real plus.
BUT....now that age is catching up with me, and considering the hot oil bath I gave myself last time, my go-to oil change tool is now a cell phone - to schedule visits to my indy shop.

Quickjack, large capacity oil drain pan, magnetic LN oil plug, LN filter adapter. Here on Oahu used oil is absorbed and put in the regular trash. Our trash is then burned for electricity production.

When your short on jack stands, having big bulldog laying around works too.

My driveway has hump before heading down so I just drive my 911 over the hump until it’s level. This leaves the backend of my car higher off the ground. I just slide my low profile, high capacity oil collector under the sump and proceed with the oil change.
