Default Mice have arrived - ate my car cover

I bought this three years ago and didn't think it would be at risk for mice damage during summer storage. I went to inspect it today in preparation for the N.E. winter and found it shredded. Any thoughts for a car cover that can be stored nicely over the summer? This one could not be folded etc. I use steel wool and Bounce dryer sheets in the engine, frunk, exhaust and interior. Just never expected this! Appreciate any recommendations that won't break the bank.

Mix an old cake mix or corn meal 50-50 with baking soda and set out a bowl or two for them. Problem will be gone in a day or two.
