Silly usb car charger question
I am admittedly a bit of an car interior crazy person. :-)
As a result, the usb chargers with blue illumination just does not work for me with the various orange backlit dash items.
However, I'm having a difficult time finding a charger with either orange illumination or no illumination - any suggestions? Thanks!

I prefer the chargers that sit flush in the socket with no illumination. Here's what I use from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Charger-Aergi.../ref=sr_1_3_pp

I've been wondering if there is a wireless charger that would fit in/under the cubbies in the center console. That would be ideal since you could connect it to switched power.

Many will, your phone's not that thick. The problem I find is that modern phones are all too damn tall, they barely fit lengthwise in the cubby so you don't have much room for fingers to dig it out. I'm working on something halfway between the stock center console and a GT3 console delete for this reason. The hazard-light-switch Magsafe mount is super cool, but I prefer having my phone lower as I'm normally not looking at it.

I installed this charger from Amazon (minus the water proof cap). It matches well. The only issue is it is always powered and the LED is on all the time. I have not had an issue with that killing my battery.

I installed a magnetic wireless mount:
My phone pops on and works perfectly as GPS when needed, and charges at the same time.
I used a bluetooth amp receiver to link to the audio system.
photos are a bit out of focus.

What BT kit do you have, and would it work with the factory Becker 220?

After about six months, I realized that I still had accessories that needed a cigarette lighter plug so I installed USB in the console and put the dash one back to stock.
I have different plugs I use in the hole where the lighter part would normally go.

I use this BT adapter with success
Bluetooth Audio Adapter AUX Cable Fit for Porsche Becker Stereo 8PIN & 6PIN Port https://a.co/d/fEVdopo
. Only thing I don’t like is it won’t automatically pair with my phone but I think that only work with CarPlay.
It works and is cheap. You do lose the ability to play CD’s 😂
