“Stuck” pixels in AC controls
Hi! Wondering if anyone knows what’s going on with my AC control display. Noticed a few days ago that some of the pixels seemed stuck- it was even noticeable while the car was off.
I checked again today and it looked like even more pixels were stuck.
Any ideas?

You have LCD's aging out . I have read that some guys have had success with parking the car in the sun . Apparently the heat somehow " heals " the old LCD's . But I think that is iffy or short term at best .
There are replacement panels available . Do a search there are several companies that sell them . Online videos make it look like a fairly easy repair .

Three Wheelin'
Not too hard to replace the LCD panel. I recommend the kit from 914Rubber.com. It's identical to the OEM, and comes with good instructions. I replaced mine in 2013 or 2014, and it's still works perfectly.
There's also and Audi panel that works, but it looks different.
