The most annoying rattle ever. Passenger seat
In my quest to create a cabin that only rumbles from the engine notes and drive line I have been trying to kill all rattles at first noise. One of the pesky blighters still has not be vanquished however. It is coming from the passenger seat and I think from the seat to seat track mounting frame. Amongst the sea of rattle threads on this site I can find none devoted to this issue.
The problem are 3-4 (each side) torx bolts that seem to have been fastened before the seat assembly was attached. I have had the seat out three times to no avail. I think using a very (VERY) low profile torx ratchet may help but I am unsure.
If you fold the seat forwards the noise goes away but the area shown below is a definite culprit. One possible idea would be a 0.003-5" shim in between but that may be tough.
Has anyone else had/solved this issue before?

Three Wheelin'
Does the entire passenger seat vibrate back and forth while idling? I had that issue, and it turned out to be worn engine mounts. Somehow, the vibration manifested in the passenger seat. Just a thought.

Fair question but I just did the engine mounts and in my rattle killing quest I also fixed the sunroof rattle. Upon further investigation I think it might be coming from the hook that locks the seat back in position. I have no idea how to get to that.
