I had mine converted by Fister 14 years ago and love every minute of driving with them. 2000 C2 Cab.

Had the Gundo hack done at a local shop years ago. No regrets.

01 with fister type mod and FVD catless x-pipe.

Way too loud for the street. It’s been measured at about 97db at the track. With just the mufflers it was very nice.

Here is my friend in his 997 passing me at lime rock last week. My car is the one making all the noise.

Does anyone have a view or experience with comparing the fister mod on a stainless vs mild steel muffler, as in there a noticeable sound improvement either way?

Also, with the fister; is there a benefit to having the join piece in an arc shape as opposed to a straight ‘bridge’ from the inlet to the exit pipe?

was thinking that if it was more arched, does this improve flow?

I have the PSE system. I cannot tell the difference between sport and normal with respect to power. If there is it seems immeasurable.

I've had fister mufflers for years. No drone and great sound. I do have FVD catless pipes, so its a bit louder than with just the fisters, but still no drone. I drive the car a lot and they have been great.

Another happy Fister customer, one of first mods I made. Had them ceramic coated, they look and sound great.
