Your dealership probably has several lying around and I've heard of people haggling over the price and getting good deals.

Try Porsche of Orlando (FL). They had a couple sitting in their office area last fall when I asked. Offered at about $800 as I recall.

Bob-what did it run you?

By the way, I have been trying to decide if it's worth it for me to get one. Does it really make that much of a difference?

I think if you drive in the winter + snow, salt splasing, etc. you really should consider a h'top. It really doesn't look that bad and feels like a coupe. Plus you can lower the rear window!

Thanks Don. Actually it is a second car for me and a lease, so buying the hard top would be a couple of year investment but if I can drive the car more often it may be well worth it.

I have the hard top but haven't used it yet except to drive home from the dealership back in March. I can't decide if I should sell it or not, as I like the look of the convertible with the top up. While I plan to drive the car in the winter, I will not take it out except on dry, clear days (it's a weekend car), so Don's point probably doesn't apply to me. Should I sell it or keep it?
