Thumbs up PROPS to PREMIER: Clear Bra installer in SF bay area

I got clear bra for my 911 today covering my bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors and headlights. For those that have been thinking about it, I'd recommend it even if you car has a few chips. The install was professionally done at my house by Sam of Premier. He's done many MB, Porsche, exotics in US and Overseas. I am very pleased with his work and his professionalism. He came fully prepared with the film pre-cut for my car and took his time to make sure everything is perfect. We took off the hood emblem and put it on a few times just to make sure it's just purrrfect! From a few feet away, the bra is completely invisible. You'll see a crease line 2-3 away from the car.

I'll let the pics speak for the results.

Here is Sam's info:

It looks great. How did you come across him? I'm looking for someone in my area and they ALL claim to do a perfect job. Wonder if you have any tips on finding the right one, like Sam there.

Thanks for the compliments djantlive. It was a pleasure wrapping your vehicle.

kristap - to find a good installer, you really need to see their work either in person or in pics. I see you're not from California, but our company actually travels all over the states for clearbra group buys. If you were interested in setting something up for your local area, please feel free to contact us.

Default Nice work but.....

...what did they charge you for the application?

I was just about to start calling a few installers since I just put a Turbo front bumper on my '99 C2 Cab and I got the hood repainted at the same time.

I used http://www.clearprotectionproducts.com/ on both my cars. Mark and Ken are top notch. I know they've done a few cars from this board and everyone has been very happy with their work.

Be sure to get someone who has done it for a long time and uses quality film. I found Sam through another online forum. As for pricing, you can call various installers to compare prices but typical full kit is around $600 +- $100 depending on installer. I'd not base your decision on price alone. I'd make sure it's done right, get references and look for word of mouth recommendation on forums like this site.

We are Rennlist sponsors and have an established reputation with refereces and photos here for clear bra installations (and also travel for 'group buys') as an FYI for everyone.

I'm interested but my salesman suggested it would be a $1400 job on my 03 C4S. Seems pricey, but is that the going rate for bumper, hood, lights and mirrors?

I bought my wife a clear bra for Xmas. She was able to install it herself. Nice look!

That's amazing, she is a keeper. I think bumper is pretty hard to do and isn't DIY. Maybe C4 bumer is simpler.

chuckla - $1400 is a bit on the high side, but that's because you are purchasing this at the dealership level. Dealerships markup the clearbras some 100%-150%. For example, we charge our BMW dealers $650 for the 6 and 7 series and they turn around and mark it up to $1299.

You should be able to find a lower cost clearbra installer somewhere. $1400 can get you quite a lot of coverage from a pro. For example, we did a complete wrap on a 360 a few wks ago for $4500.......yes, that would be the entire car. We are one of a few dealers in the U.S. that is skilled enough and also have film large enough to wrap entire panels in one piece........

All the posts that I've overlooked about clear bra thinking you see a plastic cover. But wow, that looks fantastic. I might be interested as well. Too bad I'm on the other side of the country.

Good news is our company is expanding and our team is growing. However, our next two locations will be overseas in China (both in Hong Kong)......

If you guys would like to set up a group buy for your local area please feel free to do so. We send our best technicians about for group buys.
