Hi Paul,
I use Steve's fine cars on the Queensway (accross from the food terminal) it's a great shop don't let the name fool you.
Their number is 416 239 9913, speak with Steve or Mike.
Cheers,
Stan

Thanks Stan. I'll make note of that. I have already made an appointment with a shop way out in Oakville for this afternoon. I'll let you know how they fare. I'm just getting some brake pads put on.

Thanks guys, and thanks for the offer to help kilrgt. It turns out my pads were fine. The wire connecting one of the wear indicators wasn't pressed all the way, or became loose somehow.
I'll need new plugs, oil and filter in a month or so. This guy I went to in Oakville was pretty nice and definitely honest, so I may give him some business if he keeps his prices reasonable. His shop is called Rowetech Automotive and he's at 273 Speers Rd.
He was going to charge me about $250 parts and labour. The pads he was going to put on were Tekstar (I think). Is that what Porsche uses?
