Wow, these are some fancy watches! I use a relatively inexpensive Seiko chronograph that I also scuba dive with. I had it down to 130' several times and it just keep on ticking.

No watch. Bang em up too much. The hands of my last Rolecs fell off, but what do you expect from something you buy on a corner in NY. ;->

BTW, nice choice of watches!

slaaw: 130' w/o narking? Lucky you.

I'm a fan of my everyday tank: the Rolex Datejust, I get it cleaned every 5 years like clockwork.... Keeps the time well, takes one hell of a beating, but I hate changing the date on off months.

I have 4-5 movado's that I LOVED when I was a kid. They are not worth anything, so I keep them in a drawer and change batteries every 2 years, again like clockwork...

But my next watch is a vintage Patek, and I also love the old classic 1950-60's IWC caliber 89 watches, I love their understated beauty and simplicity and only those who would know a cool watch would realize what they were, so mug factor in NYC is much lower than my Rolex.

Alot of great watches on here, I'm jealous of more than a few of you....

New Style Rolex Presidential, Rose Gold, Diamond Roman Numbers, Black Mother of Pearl Face

Have about 12 watches, none others worth really mentioning by name except the Porsche 911 Chrono.

Tag Heuer SEL. After 11 years I've finally sent it in to get serviced, as it was no longer watertight. Hopefully I'll get it back sometime this year, but I've heard not great things about the Tag (LVMH) factory service time.

Had my TAG in for resealing too last year and my jeweller got it back to me within 3 weeks. BTW: I use it for scuba diving so it's pretty important that it be watertight.

I wear a Casio G-Shock or Suunto Vector if climbing/mountaineering. 35 years ago I worked as a buyer for an import company and bought watches from several manufacturers in Switzerland. I still have a few today. As I recall there was about a 1000-2000% markup between ex-factory and retail. This insider position destroyed my potential for appreciation of expensive watches at a young age.

I however do understand somewhat the facination with watches as my Suunto has given me as much pleasure and probably more than some of the mega $K watches have given their owners.
