Black is the OE color on all standard models, red is for TTs and also the color of your car, yellow is the high $ ceramic that you don't want to pretend to be, so the logical choice and most tasteful, all things considered would be silver. Silver is used for C4 OEMs as well and looks great especially with a red car.

You could get a 993 C2S from the factory with yellow calipers. I don't think the C2S had ceramic composite calipers.

Shame on Porsche for pretending to have something they didn't have on the car.

I think yellow would be cool but I wouldn't do it for fear of being a poser...Better yet-just upgrade to PCCB!!!!

this was where I looked before I painted my calipers:

https://rennlist.com/forums/996-forum/254971-weekend-mod-red-calipers-pics.html

I am very happy with how they came out. I posted before, during, and after pictures.

The calipers are still perfect. No flaking or fading. Worst case you are out $40 and 4 hours of your time. As you can see from my before pics, my clear coat was chipping pretty bad, so i stripped them and started fresh.

Nicolaas - for the same reason everyone already stated. I would avoid yellow unless you're upgrading to PCCB. Just my opinion. Everyone should do whatever makes them happy, regardless of others opinions.

Just painted mine red on my black cab and they stand out nice on the 18" twists.
