I think mines jealous.

She thinks I spent more time with the car than her. So to prove her wrong I took her on a mini vacation.

We drove the P-car on Skyline Dr. in the Shenandoah National Park and did an overnight at the Bavarian Inn in West Virginia on the Potomac River.

She still thinks we took the trip so that I could drive the p-car

At the moment mine hates my P-car. It has been in and out of the shop for much of the last month, and now they are replacing the engine. She bought it new for me this past Christmas, and it only has 5k miles on it. She likes her 4.4 X5 much better and keeps reminding me I should have gotten the M5. They way this whole deal has gone for me I think she may be right. I am pretty pleased with the way the dealer and my service advisor have handled things. PCNA could not have handled it more badly.

Mine understands quite well my passion with cars, especially a Porsche 911. We've been together for 15 years (married for 7), and she's seen my poster of a 911 since day one, so she respects my relationship with my "mistress." She does get a little miffed, though, whenever I spend money on the 911.

Mine loves our 996. In fact, technically, she bought it. I had taken her along to look at what turned out to be a ratty C4. She was so horrified, she "made me" go straight to the closest Porsche dealer to see what they had in CPO cars. They had a Lapis Blue (my first colo choice) 996 with a 6-speed and almost no miles on the clock. She cut the deal while I sat there trying not to breathe, lest I wake up from what seemed to be a pretty good dream, even if it didn't feature Mia Kirshner (the very hot "bad girl" on tv's 24) in a soaking wet t-shirt.

She likes the fact that I will quickly agree to drive her anywhere, even if I insist on parking waay out there. She is happy that I am focused on the car and not on my neighbor's 17-year old daughter.

We keep notionally separate bank accounts so she can't even comment about mods....

she does think my license plate is a bit gay though....

Mine loves the 996 and now wants the 964 gone because I never drive it. I tell her if I sell it I am just going to buy a more expensive replacement that I will not drive much either....end of conversation.

basically its the plate in th UK that the sultain of brunei bought for $400k years ago where it remained the most expensive plate for 15 years.
