Also - car is located in Queens NY, and being from the area, was wondering (if my prejudices are showing), if the areas' lousy roads may likely have beaten the crap out of the suspension? Any opinions?

I don't know...I'd probably wait for one with less miles, and more options. The interior shot doesn't show many desirable options...maybe why it's been F/S for a while...

I have not seen the car but in my opinion it has not sold because it is overpriced! FYI, I have been considering a new 997. I currently own an 01 996 with 63,000 miles, it has been a daily driver and in great condition, all services and records done by dealer. The dealer offered $27,000 for the car in trade! I didn't take it but thought it might give you an idea of what people are being offered for these cars by dealerships (at least in Fla).

Ricky if you looking for a car in NY my '99 is for sale with less miles than the one on e-bay. The buy it now price for the one on ebay is ridiculous as are the description of the car and the prices for the "extras"

"" EXTRAS INCLUDE 18" Gemballa wheels which were $5k, Fabspeed Exhaust which cost $4k with installation (fabspeed exhaust is about 1k and a couple hundred to install), updated to xenons and clear euros front and back so the lights are amazing and look like the newer models which cost over $3k, short shifter which was about $1500 (short shifter is at most 400 not including install for may 200 more), black brake calipers(are the stock brake calibers).... "
