Default I drove 10,000 happy miles in 8 months

As some of you fellas might know I bought this beauty back in March this year, car had about 26k when I bought it now it has about 37k it has been 8 months, sometime I think if I put too much mileage on the car, but then I don't want my car to become a garage queen, I never tracked it but just can't stop me from driving it. Do you guys think it's too much, well more than half of it are on the highway from dallas to houston back and forth couple of times.

Should I stop driving it for a little while, most of the time I rather drive the car to Houston instead of flying.

22K in 10 months with no regrets. Snow tires should keep me adding miles right on through winter.

Don't overlook taking your car to the track, especially since you like to drive it, it's a blast, not (that) hard on the car or tires at the novice level, and makes you appreciate your car even more.

I would keep driving it as long as you do the maintenance and watch for worn tires/brakes etc. If the upkeep cost gets too high, then get a daily driver or do less road trips.

Awesome! Don't have Porsche yet but have had all others and put lots of miles on them myself. Bought an M-coupe and put 28K first year. Could not stop driving it. I am sure the Porsche experience will be over the top. I never understood how someone can buy a Porche or other exotic and not drive it. Just me though I guess. To some it is a work of art more to be observed. Nothing wrong with that - just have trouble understanding it.

I thought I had high miles at 20k on my '05, not so much apparently. I am committed to catching up! How can you enjoy any interesting car without driving it?

Don't worry, be happy! (Sorry, I had to say it!) Drive and enjoy.

I put 5K miles on my C4S in the first 4 months of ownership. Which is a lot considering it was 3 years old and only had 10K miles when I bought it. I treated my Boxster like a garage queen and only drove it 30K miles in 5 years. I'm not going to make that mistake again!
