Dell, I bought it for my birthday last June. I almost made it a full year, but a bit more than the HUMMER and the LEXUS did! The P-Dealer in town is still sitting on his '04 GT3. Been there since I bought my car. Cant figure how they sit on one that long. Its black/ black and under 8K miles.

I am a bit confused? - if KBB says in "good" condition its worth 36K on trade, how is is that the general concensus says I should be getting around 35K retail??? Am I missing something or has the market just dropped enough recently that KBB isnt reflecting this?

you realistically have to knock off a couple of grand at least for the color... even if someone comes along whp loves the color they will use it as a huge hammer to beat you down with...

I will tell you, I have had an Arctic Silver Gemballa, Slant nose, Grand Prix White, etc., and I have NEVER had the kind of comments and enthusiam from onlookers like I have with this one. Yesterday alone, we had 2 different cars on the highway slow down to take photos. See it in person, and you WILL become a GREEN TACO Lover!!!!

I'm interested. I doubt I'm the only one who wants to see a pic or two - one in, one out..?

Your car is worth more than $35k but without seeing its condition in person, I don't want to say how high is too high. If it's in great cosmetic shape and there are no mechanical problems I'm sure there are people out there that will pay right around $40k for it. They most likely aren't posting on this board, but, they are out there...

Good luck with the sale!

???? Not sure what that comment is supposed to mean? I reckon its worth 45K if I traded it tomorrow... fully loaded with 1400 miles... Someone else I have come across is listing his cayman s for $58k which I think is equally optimistic.

these cars depreciate unfortunately and the market sets the value.

I suggest the OP goes to a dealer, asks what the dealer will give him as is, then take that price and tack on 2-3k for a private party sale & keep fingers crossed...

I just sold my silver 2000 c2 areo that was clean as a whislte with 67k for 34,800.

Yours is a year newer a c4 and with less miles...however IMHO the color will sting you in the resale - 32-34k

Best of luck... resale on our cars is very low now

you should get $38K private party if you find the right buyer for the unusally color.
KBB is meaningless...

need to look at eBay SALES and Autotrader listings.... or something like Galves.

PS: one comment for your car: green for the money, gold for the honeys.
