I pulled mine and replaced with the upper storage tray bought from Bumperplugs. Tray looks much better than the ridiculous cd holder.
My cd holder is going up on ebay too, unless someone here wants it...

It works on just about anything on the car. Got rid of my lug wrench long ago, I just give the wheels a tug and off they come!

I'm truly new to all this, I never knew I could replace the cd holders. I think I'll look into a cubby as well, I don't even listen to CDs. Nice to have a place for the cell phone.

Ordered mine today from Motor Werks, my local Porsche dealer. It was $55 and some change, is it really $30-35 from other dealers. Good to learn this on a small item.

can you pull out the cassette shelf like the CD shelf?

I don't even know why it's there, no cassette player.....weird
