Default Looking for a "special" 996...

Thinking of adding to the p-car stable in addition to my 993. Here is what I am looking for - can you guys help me?

2002+ C2 coupe (might look at a targa or convertible if meets below criteria). No 4 wheel drive.
Manual transmission.
Any exterior color.
Has to be stock. Bone stock.
Mileage under 50k.

My only need is I want to find the wildest, craziest interior I can find. A absolutely ridiculous color (neophryte?) with full leather, painted center console, etc. The wilder the color (especially when contrasted with exterior color) the better.

Can you help me?

Mike - My 2004 C2 is for sale. Lapis Blue over Graphite Gray with Metropol Blue deviating carpet. That may net be "wild" enough for you but would give you a good "canvas" to start with. 43,xxx miles $48,000. There are a few pics and here is a link to the ad in the Classified section. All of the "mods" I have done are completely reversable (which I would do if you requested it), because all of them have been minor cosmetic mods.

If you don't mind a Boxster, this is a steal:

For obvious reasons.

What do I have in mind? Nothing really except a psychotic obsession with p-cars, especially ones that are deviating. I love all the early 70's colors (riviera blue, turquoise, mexico, baja, signal, conda, viper, etc.) and think what seinfeld (and others) have done is really cool by ordering late models in early 70's colors. BUT, while you are driving, you don't see the outside - only the inside and I love giggling from stupid excitement from seeing yards of green leather or whacky leather/carpet combos (like gota911 has done).

I want a 996 or a 997 as a daily driver in addition to my 993. It is really tough to find a riviera blue exterior so I decided that I would try to find a crazy interior (and I don't want to special order a 100 grand depreciating asset). It is that simple. No project, no track, etc. I just want my car to be different in the masses of gray, black, and silver 996's out there. Since there are so many of those colors out there, I guess I could suck up the exterior color if the inside was green or red or two tone or ???

Gota911 - your interior is cool - I like it a ton and very similiar to my 993. BUT, I think I want something a bit more wild like lipstick or nephrite. It is crazy, in the UK, nephrite is common. Not in the US where people think seal gray or natural brown is "out there".

Eric - I'm not sure yet. Probably something economical and boring!

My wife's MB CLK lease is ending in October, so we need to get her another car. Not sure yet what that will be.

And before you others flame me for calling porsche's exquisite SUV and luxurious sedan "boring" just understand that I happen to be a 2 door coupe kind of fella, SUV's, Sedan's, and Van's are what I got married for. To have one around....
