My Porsche is gone :(

The car is amazing. I fell in love with it when it first came out and still remember reading the article in Car and Driver in my college dorm room. The biggest difference between a 996 has to be how low the 355 is. I mean you are looking UP at people in Camry's. I feel like I'm sitting on the floor. But surprisingly easy to drive, clutch is pretty light, the gated shifter is a little quirky. Not that easy to shift when cold but feels a lot better after it's been warmed up. It's also not as quick shifting and has rather long throws but hearing that metal clack when u shift sounds great. Very raw car, it's loud and it sounds soooooo good, revs very easy and a joy to bring it up to 8000 rpms. But unlike a Porsche I can't see myself using it as a daily driver.

Man, I've been in love with Ferraris since I first saw one as a kid.
Nothing on the road sounds as good as a Ferrari. I wouldn't care if someone next to me on the road/track had the faster car- I would be in heaven with my screaming engine, and having a heck of a lot more fun.
Congrats on the Ferrari- looks great.

Ferrari is my dreamcar.....don't care about cost or reliability......if you got the guts and the money to own one (and park it on the street when you are going to somewhere) you got to be the luckiest man in the world.
Goodluck and keep us updated with pics and driving reports!!
