An odd request - or question...opinion maybe?
I thought of making my car into a "996 Carrera RS" Doing so, I would assemble and old RS America badge and join it with a Carrera badge...
Now my thoughts on this are simple really. I have loads of respect for the GT3. And...since there is already a 1999 GT3 (that we didn't get), and the MkII GT3... my opinion, trying to build something already done seems rather ridiculous.
So...if I decided to enhance the performance of my car and lighten it a bit...would it be prudent to call it a "Carrera RS?"
Thoughts?

Okay...but what if I build it into one? It's already technically the lightest of the bunch. And if I increase the horsies a touch...it kinda fits...
Which BTW- I have a source that can build me aerospace quality CF hoods, fenders and tail planes...I coule REALLY lighten up the 'ol girl.

Well i voted no, but I really like the idea of CF pieces that are of high quality and added to that very nice new car of yours. How about 911L (for lightweight) instead? Just kidding about that too but a debadged ultra-light car is a great idea imho. Oh and when those CF pieces are manufactured let us know

you can purchase CF hood, doors, roof panel and fenders, however I do not suggest it if you intend on driving the car on the street. It will not be safe enough, certainly without a full roll cage with bars running past the doors. I lost a friend to an accident in a car that was fitted with those parts. they just don't provide the protection needed on the public streets.
RIP Luis.

Go completely badgeless and let them all guess what model P-car it really is. Knowing you're a graphic artist, it may be too much to resist some special badging, but it will look much cleaner as a virgin. If you get bored w/ the look you can always add later...
