Thanks Jerry.
So how I understand this correctly. When you do the mod to use a different hose from the airbox to the throttle body, it leaves a hole in the top of the airbox where a hose use to go to from the factory hose. This Orange Cap is used to plug that hole.

Steven the orange cap goes inside the part with yellow line around it as shoen in the pic below. It gives a louder air intake at wide open throttle. No performance gains.

So only a noise increase at WOT and no performance gains. Seems like a simple mod to get something
