Just can't seem to get the stick to engage properly into 1st. Once in, it stays in, and the rest of the shifts are like butta - in and out. Maybe I should just take a swig of the Techron myself.

Maybe you're just being too aggressive - you have to caress a girl to get it to go in.

Phil, have you tried to slam it into reverse? Sometimes that works quite well!

At my age, I've tried slamming it into whatever works. So far, no luck.

Besides, they tend not to like that if you do it without warning.

Another thing, stop criticizing me and my car . It may be "boring" to you, but not to me. We all make choices on our machines. I don't think anything of Mercedes, but I wouldn't knock you for buying one. My car happens to be a damn nice daily commuter.
i'm going to say whatever i feel i wanna say about your car. we're on a porsche internet forum. it's well known your car has like minimal miles on it and you seem to quite like that fact - admit it.

and at least i don't go about taking personal jabs at one's sexuality, race, religion that is all so common on this forum with wellard once again taking the torch here with his kid joey carrera.

No question about it. Audis do not hold their value. That's why I'm planning on holding onto it. If the transmission is right, that is. If not, it's outta here.

Calling my comments "dumb" is a personal jab. So, cut it out and act like an adult. Bringing Wellard into this is completely off point. And yeah, I do like having low mileage cars - you got a problem with that?

Ahh, Phil, you quoted him.

I have him on ignore and I'm perfectly happy not seeing his comments.

I just think some of Ben's comments are both hyper and hypo-critical, as well as personal. But, he's too much fun to ignore!

Oh I know, that's the problem, he draws you in and you don't want to go into that world.
