Outstanding ride! Audi's don't hold their value (campaired to Porsche) and this is the last year before the body change / redesign, but hey are a fine, fine, ride.

Yeah, the modern Porsche is a real value holder!

The RS4 is a great car, a real blast to drive.

Awesome car - I'd jump at it if the price is right.

I've always liked Audis, especially in the last 5 years or so. All their cars are nice. I think my dream Audi is a S4 - great all around car.

It's a great car saddled with just a little too much weight, but it wouldn't be a dealbreaker for me if the price was right.

It is a 2007 MY with about 4,200 miles. Price is TBD (seller is a friend) and I'd be interested in thoughts on an attractive price range.

I have an 2005 Audi S4. Great car. I have 46k miles, no problems at all. I've test driven the RS4. I would say the RS4 is an S4 but add another 20%.

RS4 is a great car, if the price is right buy it.

I have a 2008 S4 with 400 miles and am about to have (at least) the first gear synchro and possibly the entire transmission replaced!! The car is a blast to drive and is powerful and fast. Audi has acknowledged a problem with my shifter and will "do whatever it takes to make it right." We'll see - the car goes in next week for the synchro. I have not heard of similar problem with RS4 trannies. I hear nothing but great things about that car. Except for the gas mileage - it's actually better than the S4 - mine gets around 12-13 in the city.

See what you get when you drive your car Phil!

Sorry to hear that the transmission was more serious than we thought.

I've been thinking of buying an RS4 but have heard that I should look for one with a remanufactured transmission because they're not reliable. Also, someone told me that an RS4 isn't a real Audi. Any thoughts?

A friend has a hot RS4, suspension, etc. Looks and drives awesome.

But then he tells me he wants to sell it because he gets such poor mileage.
Then he starts asking me how I like my A3 Sport with DSG....ha.

Amazing sedan, just not economical for commuting obviously.

Many say that the RS4 is the ONLY real Audi! Why would a remanufactured transmission be superior to a new one? Intuitively, that just doesn't make sense. It's interesting you raise that point, because when AoA (Audi of America) offered to replace my transmission (should it come to that), they offered to replace mine with a remanufactured unit, not a new one. I told them I would only accept a new unit for a brand new car. What could be the advantage of a remanufactured tranny over a new one? It's why I never buy things like refurbished cell phones or computers.
