Default Need some photoshop help (silver to black wheels).

Hey guys, I've seen some pretty good photoshop skills on here, and was wondering if someone could do a quick photoshop of the car below with black wheels. This belongs to my good buddy who lives down the street, and he is contemplating painting the wheels black but wants to see how they'd look first. It doesn't have to be a pro job, just something to give him a sense of how it would look. Thanks in advance, Scott.

Black rims on Zenith Blue? I like silver way better on darker color cars. Makes the rims stand out more, IMHO of course.

Zenith blue? I agree that black probably wouldn't look that great on my zblue car, but my buddy's is black. He's thinking of doing just the centers and leaving the lip polished, which would set off the wheels from the body. By the way, his car, which is an "S", is freakin sweet, tubi exhaust, headers, chip, evo intake, techart wing, champion wheels...the thing hauls!

Ah, it's for that black car. I like your car just the way it is! Not sure I like the rims on your friend's car - they look like Acura rims.

Wow, that's a beautiful car. I'd leave it alone.

I don't understand this whole love to get all black wheels. It looks horrible. Stay as is. It's cuz these guys are bored. but then their pent up energy is expended by looking for a cheap fix which powdering coating is.. a cheap fix to change something that doesn't need change.

my recommendation: save the $300... stay as is

Stay with the Champions as pictured...black goes better on white or silver cars.(Oh no, I'm agreeing WITH Ben).

I'm not a fan of black rims either...except on the matte black Ferrari 599.
I'd leave it alone.
However, it needs to be lowered ASAP!!!!

Very rough due to the original photo I was working with being very pixilated because of the small file size.

Mark, thanks so much...that is perfect! My buddy will be stoked and I'll be sure to post pics if he goes through with it (I'm betting he will). Thanks again, Scott.

You're very much welcome. I just bought Photoshop Elements 6 and needed the experience.
