Chad, glad to hear it was nothing major and that you are OK...it could have been worse as I know first hand when you lose the rear

Thumbs up

You'll do fine. No 2' ditches at CMP. Just remember descretion's the better part of valor. If you can't make the turn, just drive it off. And if all else fails "2 feet in" i.e. feet on brake and clutch.
You'll be ready for F1 by Monday.

Always good to hear about a track incident without major damage to your Porsche(or occupant). I imagine the brown skid marks weren't just on the track apron.

Chad, my prestige plate was well earned and now hangs on my tow vehicle.

I'm one that beleives if you don't ever spin, you are not learning how to drive the car fast. I've spun countless times and only once have I damaged the car.

Now, if I could stop doing it while racing, I could win more...

Good luck!

Thanks bud. Love the plate. No novice here. Spun my BMW's plenty. Just wasn't expecting to do THAT early. Whoops...

Skipped over it and in the process ripped off the front spoiler and made a couple nice divits with the wheels/tires. Gotta "9.5" for style and a "10" for moron move of the day on cold tires. Oops...

Code brown moment for sec or two...otherwise no major damage. Upon seeing the skid marks and divits, I realized how close I came to rolling her. The nose now has a couple small 1/2" cracks underneath otherwise, just the spoiler. All in all, more pride damage than anything.

Another good thing - no flat spots if you're in the grass.

Nice miss Jim. How did he drop the wheel? Looking back at you? I have never been there.

I saw an M3 at Button Willow CA dig his wheels into soft ground as he slid off on the grass - car just stopped and rolled.

One totaled M3 - one shaken but ok driver - one wife who was out of town and didn't know her new M3 was on the track.....

Glad you came out right side up!

Glad you're OK and there's minimal damage to the car.

Chad, glad you're ok. It sounds like fun. I can't wait to get mine on the track.
