Sorry to hear about this...you'll have lots of fun with the E36 as a track car...I've been in negotiations lately to get my brother to sell me his to turn into my track toy.

Better make sure to reinforce the subframe with TMS reinforcement plates when using the E36 at the track. Otherwise...

The deed isn't really done until you have $$'s in hand and the car is gone!

$35k is a good deal for your car. I would have asked more seeing how it's the ONLY non-sunroof 996 currently available.

I respect how you will not molest this car, good idea. Although, what else is there to do with a sunroof delete, wasn't that the intent? To turn into a more rigid race car?

I am surprised that in all the work you have done on this car, you did not get attached enough to keep it. How will you react if the next owner turns it into a track only car? Someone will get a beautiful car. Good luck with the sale.

Best wishes with the sale. Someone will get a beaut.

I notice the one mod you didn't do: 3rd-center radiator. What water temperatures did you see at the track? Before I did this mod, my temp needle would go all the way to the max and the light would come on until I pulled off for a cool-down.

Tough to see her go I'm sure. What a lucky new future owner. You've got some serious guts letting her go for noble reasons.

Best of luck finding your track baby.

Guys. You're going to think I am crazy (I am beginning to think I am). I am pulling the car from the for sale list. I'm keeping it.

why you ask?

I just came back from my shop, and I had a smile on my face for the whole trip back. Screw it. I love this thing WAY to much.

Sorry folks that were interested. She's no longer for sale.

I know...I know. That trip back from the shop...screw it. I love this car WAY to much. Besides, there's more that I want to do to her.
