The choice has been made. The car is officially for sale. Upon researching my decision of going for a full on prepped track beastie, I am feeling better about my choice. There are quite a few cars out there, so the decision has been made.

Sorry to hear about this...you'll have lots of fun with the E36 as a track car...I've been in negotiations lately to get my brother to sell me his to turn into my track toy.

I respect how you will not molest this car, good idea. Although, what else is there to do with a sunroof delete, wasn't that the intent? To turn into a more rigid race car?

I am surprised that in all the work you have done on this car, you did not get attached enough to keep it. How will you react if the next owner turns it into a track only car? Someone will get a beautiful car. Good luck with the sale.

I notice the one mod you didn't do: 3rd-center radiator. What water temperatures did you see at the track? Before I did this mod, my temp needle would go all the way to the max and the light would come on until I pulled off for a cool-down.

I just came back from my shop, and I had a smile on my face for the whole trip back. Screw it. I love this thing WAY to much.
