Kudos to Tim for his generosity! This is what the forum is all about--I had been thinking about getting these pedals for quite some time, and here they are, almost literally thrown in my lap!

I already bragged to my girlfriend that one of the cool Rennlisters is giving me some free pedals. I must have been pretty giddy about it, 'cause she gave me a pretty funny look. Anyway, I appreciate you making my otherwise boring Saturday night a pleasant experience, Tim.

Thanks again...

I agree, you don't see this kind of thing on many other car boards including some other prominent Porsche boards. Great sense of fellowship here fostered by great people.

Thanks guys!

Chris, I am still not sure what I am going to get. I'm looking for something in the $25K range, and there is not much in that range that I really WANT to drive. So far the two leading candidates are a used Nissan Z350 or a used Infinity G35.

Neither of them are a Porsche, but then.... what is.... other than a Porsche? There REALLY is no substitute!

I could not agree more. Although a new member here (long time lurker) I have been very active in other online auto communities and have not seen such devoted and genuinely friendly enthusiasts. Props to Tim for an act of true generosity. (I'm darn glad I posted those pics...)

Nicely done Timster.

Now, if I only paid attention and actually saw this when you posted.

I wanted the rings.

That is exactly where I would go in that price range. Probably the 350Z, unless you need back seats. It will be a fun car.

May have missed it, but why are you selling the car?

End of lease is 6/1/08. Two years ago I got "downsized" from a well paying job. I tried my hand at consulting. Poor timing.... made no money. Started the new job in February of this year.... a good thing. Pay is substantially less than the old job.... not a good thing! Fewer discretionary funds, so Porsche goes and gets replaced with a POS.

Damn, I was following the other thread and missed this one by a few hours. I'll have to buy the pedals now

Props to your generosity. That's awesome!
