How old were you when you bought your first P-car?

30....my '85 targa...I'm 39 now. Grabbed it just after my first son was born. Figured if I didn't jump in when I did, I'd have to wait 20 years. That car was recently sold, and I'm loving my 996. I think I'll always have a p car until I'm in the grave.

Medtech, I hear you ! that's why I don't want to wait any longer. I am 28 and I should get my 4S mid-next week.
To JBRipps, I hope I own one until I'm in the grave!

22 - had a 6 year old turbo (86 my) , then 1 year later bought a newer one (89 my). Sold the 89 to buy my first house.
My dad is a bit of a car guy and I was living at home and working quite a bit too. I always wanted a Porsche with the wide fenders. Didn't really know the difference between the turbo and the turbo look until I drove one. WOW I loved that car.
I didn't even have to pay my own insurance until I finished college. Sure made it easy.

btw... the '80s turbo required lots of driving skills... you probably scared yourself a couple of times when trying to push 'em a little
