Arrggh. Unfortunately due to work I wasn't able to pick up the car today. Nonetheless here is a pic from the original owner. It will be Saturday for sure!

Sorry about the "Pixelmator" text and grey splotch in the image ... just quickly used the first free image editing tool I could find to block out the plate #.

Thanks! I can't wait to have it in the garage!

I believe that these are 18" Carrera wheels - the 40th Anniversary edition had them polished.

Sadly I can't remove the front plate here in Ontario, Canada.

Rat, the car is gorgeous - agree with Irocman's suggestion that you remove the front plate and put in some bumper plugs. Car's too pretty to ruin the lines. Enjoy it!!

Move to Pennsylvania - no front plate required. No new cars destined for PA dealers come through with any front brackets! That alone makes it worth living here. Now, if it weren't for those damn winters ....

Well I suppose winter isnt so bad if at least there is promise of summer...(sort of "light at the end of the tunnel") here in Rainville (seattle) it just rains 300 days of the year and goes from 40 in the winter to 65 in the summer..with occational "random spikes" in each dirrection just so we know what we are missing! LOL
But cool they let you run w/o plates!!
any other states?

Never been to Seattle, but the description of your weather is awful. Why does everyone who lives there love it so much? Maybe it's the no front plate law!

Just got home with the new car! WOW - is about the only word I can come up with!

The car is in great condition and looks and runs beautifully. After the 2 hour ride home my wife was fairly certain she wouldn't be driving it! The road and engine noise along with the firm suspension were a bit much for her after two hours. (she normally drives a lexus rx )

Sorry it is a bit too dark to get pics but I will in the morning.

Thanks for all the comments and well wishes! The car was bought and serviced at Beverly Hills Porsche and imported to Canada early in 2008. So I had the price benefit of a US car without the importing paperwork (plus I needed a bit of financing help since it was a bit beyond my budget!) The car is number 25 of 1963 of the 2004 Anniversary Edition.

Looking forward to participating more actively on the board! Oh yeah - I think I am going to sleep in the garage tonight!!!

Chris
