Default My First Porsche......

Just picked my first Porsche, I can't stop looking at it or listening to it.... I love it! Great site as well. I do have one question though. In the second picture, I noticed a drop of oil on the bracket with the arrow pointing to it. Can any one tell me what that is and if its a DIY type of job to complete. Any help would be greatful. Thanks!

Car looks great, not sure about that oil line, but shouldn't cost much to get it replaced if necessary.

But hey, what is up with that "Organ Donor" license plate on a Porsche?

Welcome !
Enjoy your Porsche and don't worry for the leak... there is almost always one on a 911

Congrats on the new car and welcome to the world of Porsche. I was the same way last June when I bought mine.

Congrats on the 996. Is your concern that it's two different type of fittings? Does the line seem to be loose in the bracket? Sorry, it's just not clear what you're concerned about.

yes, welcome to your new life (you won't be needing the old one any more!)
Wipe the area with the oil and see if shows uo again, might not be a leak at all but just a careless drip from a detailer doing something?

Tim,

Did you cut this one some slack because of the car color? Not that you would be biased or anything
